Tanzanite is a delicate stone that does not stand up well to the wear and tear of being worn daily. Whenever possible, I attempt to position such a stone in a recessed area of the ring in order to protect it.
The color of this tanzanite is quite wonderful. By introducing the lively green of tsavorite on either side, the color of the center stone is further intensified. On either face of the ring, I've located triangles made of white gold, each of which has a diamond set in the center. On the underside of the ring, as is my general custom, I've set an additional diamond as a sort of signature.
