Platinum Jewelry by Keith Farley

During the past several years I've made much more platinum jewelry
than jewelry made using other precious metals. Platinum has the distinction of being
a very white and durable metal that many people now seek out as an alternative to
gold. While the actual process of working with platinum is much more demanding, the
resulting pieces of jewelry possess remarkable characteristics.

I'm just now beginning to develop this portion of my website. For this reason, there
are only a very few platinum pieces represented in this part of the website, although
I'm currently developing it further. In the meantime, the samples seen in the next
few pages will provide some idea regarding my general design sensibilities. If you'd
be interested in seeing more, please contact me either by telephone or by email.

Seen to the right is a platinum ring with a channel set sapphire with much the same appearance as a tension set ring. A small diamond is located directly beneath the sapphire, and another diamond set in the underside of the ring.. Please click on the picture to the right for a closer look.

The ring seen to the left dramatizes the channel set diamond in the open space in which it's set and emphasizes the presence of the stone. As with almost all the rings I make, the edges of the inner surface are softened in much the same way as a comfort fit ring. This platinum ring is classic, contemporary, elegant, and very wearable. Please click on the ring's image to the left and find out more.

To the right is a platinum ring into which a diamond has been channel set in such a manner that it has much the same appearance as a tension set ring. A second smaller diamond has been set on the underside of the ring. Please click on the thumbnail picture to the right to visit the page on which it is further described.
