Methods of payment

The fact is, I don't know you and you don't know me. And for this reason there's a certain amount of apprehension in doing business from both sides. To help in create a better sense of who I am and how I work with the people who have me make one thing or another, I'm providing a link to a page indicating how to request a list of customer references from people who have worked with me in the past. Then below I include methods by which I typically accept payment.

cashiers check

I accept payment by several methods. Among these methods is by credit card, which I'll describe further below. The method I most prefer is by cashier's check or money order. Two things happen when using this approach. I receive certain payment while you retain a documented record of the payment you make to me. This helps make both of us feel safer with the transaction.

As an alternate method, I'm sometimes able to accept personal checks (at my discretion) for partial payment prior to shipping the completed product.

Please note: Because I make little or no money from the sale of a gemstone, I reserve the right to ask payment for particularly expensive stones by cashier's check or as secure a method as possible. I'll be happy to discuss this further with you by telephone if you have questions about the process.

I currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. I've recently begun implementing a secure "shopping cart" system into which the customer will be able to input his or her credit card information. I'm still in the process of setting up the system. Until then, it will be necessary to pass along credit card details by telephone.

I also able to accept payment via PayPal and have done so for nearly nine years. If you're interested in learning more about PayPal, please feel free to click on the hyperlink below.

I quite frequently have customers living in other countries as well as on other continents. For those living outside the United States, there will likely be a need to calculate the conversion of your money to US dollars. For your convenience, I include below and to the left a link to one of several currency conversion websites, which may prove useful.
