From
my "Macaroni and Cheese" series, these examples of brooches and pins
I've made draw peoples' attention to the person wearing them. This
provides a unique opportunity to subtly let loose and have a really
great time. Please click on the image icons to see each in a larger

Tired of that floppy old tie you have to keep adjusting all day long? Why not try this sterling silver bow tie instead? |

This single creste di gallo (rooster's
comb) made of silver is both simple and understated. At the same time,
it has a presence that will get the best of someone's curiosity sometime
during the day or evening. |

A most wonderful and unique piece of jewelry. A rotino serves
as the support for an assortment of free swinging dangling pieces. In
this case, cavatappi, a medium size macaroni, and two cheese wedges have
been used. |

I've made this pin based on a form of pasta referred to as fiore or flower. Being both simple and complex, it's an amazing and striking piece. |

Although really unique as pasta goes, this is a truly
beautiful object by itself and still one of my favorites from the pasta
series. It's similar in many ways to the lasagna noodle but, rather than
extending in such a flat fashion, it wraps around itself diagonally,
taking on a vase-like quality. It could, in fact, be used to hold a
small flower rather than pinning it to your lapel. A wonderful and
elegant piece! |
