Seen to the right is a white gold wedding set including white gold engagement ring with a diamond weighing .80 carat. There are two additional white gold wedding bands, each with diamonds, that can be repositioned to interact in a different orientation when worn without the white gold engagement ring. |

The group of rings seen to the left represent a platinum wedding set partly composed of a platinum engagement ring in which a one carat diamond is set. There are two platinum wedding bands, each with 18K yellow gold stripes as well as a single diamond in each ring. They can be worn in conjunction with the engagement ring or, alternatively, they may be repositioned to interact in a different orientation when worn without the engagement ring. |

The group of rings seen to the left is a platinum wedding set composed in part by an engagement ring which is made of platinum and holds a .78 carat diamond and a sapphire inverted immediately beneath it. After completing the engagement ring, two additional rings were made, each fitting exactly against one side of the engagement ring. When worn without the center ring, they can be reconfigured and worn without the engagement ring, their alternate surfaces also fitting closely together. |

This group of rings is quite complex to describe. I'll attempt to provide at least basic information and let you explore the slide shows of these rings. I begin with a fairly simple platinum engagement ring in which I set the 1.00 carat diamond already belonging to the customer: http://artwork-inform.com/engagement/jlngpt34/ Created to surround the engagement ring is a pair of wedding bands, each fitting snugly against one side when positioned against the center ring. They are made mostly of platinum, each having an assortment of stripes and small dots of 18K yellow gold and 18K rose gold. When separated from the engagement ring and rearranged to fit together on their own, new surfaces exhibiting other characteristics are revealed, resulting in an entirely different experience: http://artwork-inform.com/engagement/jlngwdpt34/ In that the bride had two wedding bands that fit together in different configurations, revealing different arrangements of colors, the groom was interested in exploring this possibility for himself. The results of this pair of rings can be seen at: http://artwork-inform.com/wedding/jlwdpt34b/ |

The following link will take you to one of the first of the three piece engagement and wedding ring sets of this type that I've made. It’s made of platinum and holds a 1.00 carat diamond. This ring has four lobes that undulate and fit into one another, as opposed to the three lobe rings noted in one of the examples a bit further below. http://artwork-inform.com/jlwdpt16.htm |

Below is a link to a slide show which reveals another very different version of the three ring sets. This is a wedding set made of platinum, the engagement ring with a sapphire and two small diamonds, one set in either wedding ring: http://artwork-inform.com/weddingsets/jlNGWdmv1/ |

I began this group of palladium rings with the engagement ring in which I set a sapphire weighing approximately 1.6 carats. After completing the center ring,I made two additional rings to fit, one on either side of the first ring. When the engagement ring is removed from the ring sequence, the two wedding bands can be moved to the opposite side of one another, fitting in yet another manner: http://artwork-inform.com/weddingsets/jlpdWdset02/ |

The first two pictures in the slide show at the location noted below show a platinum engagement ring with 1.01 carat round brilliant diamond. Immediately beneath the center stone, there is a circular portion in which six small round brilliant cut diamonds are set, suggesting a sort of crown. The three next photos following those of the engagement ring show the wedding band for the bride in conjunction with the engagement ring. The following photo shows the brides ring alongside the groom's ring. The final two photos show the groom's ring as seen on its own. http://artwork-inform.com/weddingsets/jlngwdset20/ |
