The platinum wedding band seen below has a width of 8mm. However, a ring of this or similar style could be made somewhat narrower or wider. *Please note that this or a similar ring could be made of white or yellow gold instead. In the top of the ring are two rubies and one diamond, channel set into the more or less serpentine groove.	Please click on each of the pictures to view larger versions This is a wedding band I made for the groom in response to a platinum engagement ring I had already made for the bride.	The groove extends down onto both sides of the ring. Six diamonds are channel set at intervals with a ruby terminating each line.
Attempting to remain in keeping with the general idea of a wedding band, the subtle shapes and relatively unusual placement of stones take this ring at least a step beyond the typical wedding ring.
