18K White Gold Wedding Bands by Keith Farley

The pair of white gold wedding rings seen in the pictures below were, in reality, made of 19K white gold rather than of 18 karat as designated on the insides of the rings. As it turns out, the company that produces this variety of intensely white gold makes a 19K white gold alloy that contains slightly more gold than it's 18K counterpart. The 19 karat version is made primarily for the Canadian market. The Canadian government and jewelry makers adhere more strictly to the established European standards of using gold of at least18K than the and strictly adhere to these standards. Thus the 19K white gold that contains a bit more than 75% gold within the alloy. Unfortunately, there are no tools available with which to mark the 19K designation on the insides of the rings.

As a very brief description of the pair of rings, each person wears one of them. Each ring has a side with three lobes that engage one another. The opposite sides each have four interacting lobes. This can be better understood from the photographs, so have a look below.
