Palladium White Gold and White Gold
Wedding Bands
by Keith Farley

What can be seen in the pictures below is a pair of 14K white gold wedding bands intended to be worn by just one person, which can be reoriented at will to achieve essentially an infinite number of positions relative to one another. The polished ring is made of a particularly white gold I most typically use when making white gold rings. The slightly darker corresponding wedding band is made of palladium white gold and has a brushed surface to further enhance the distinction between the rings. Palladium white gold is an interesting alternative to the standard versions of nickel based white gold. It exhibits what I'd refer to as a sort of charcoal undertone that subtly complements the other version of white gold.

When inquiring about these rings, please make reference to jlwdau23 and provide a general idea regarding the ring size or sizes. The telephone number and tab to initiate an email are located at the top of the page. Otherwise, the email address is farley@artwork-inform.com

This pair of rings can be worn in a multitude of configurations. If connecting them using the locking mechanism seen to the right, they can theoretically be rotated to achieve an infinite number of positions.

If moving the rings to the opposite sides of one another, the three "serpentine" lobes interact with the corresponding recesses of the other ring, as seen in the three pictures to the right.

The pictures showing the interactions of this pair of rings represent only a very few possible relationships between them. Unfortunately, short of handling them yourself, there seems to be no proper way to gain an understanding regarding how these white gold wedding bands function with one another. Please note also that rings bearing essentially the same general character could be made of other metals or combinations of metals.
