Gold Wedding Rings by Keith Farley

In this group of pages, I present a small selection of gold wedding rings I've made. In that most of the examples of wedding bands seen on my website have been made of platinum wedding bands, I suggest that you investigate that area to get a better idea of the types of rings I make. I'll happily discuss the possibility of making gold wedding bands, either of white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold or combining gold and platinum.

If interested in seeing more of what I've made, please contact me at (859) 635-1996 or by email me at farley@artwork-inform.com. For your convenience, this same contact information can also be located at the top of each page.

Seen to the right is an image showing two views of the same 14K white gold wedding band. A subtle suggestion of the flow of water extends around the surface. Click here or on the picture to the right to go to a page further describing this white gold wedding ring.

The simply composed ring seen to the left is made largely of 18K yellow gold with the remainder being platinum. The play of high karat yellow gold against the intense white color of platinum is wonderful. This is one of a pair of very simple platinum and gold wedding bands. A single stripe of 18K gold encircles each wedding ring. The overall design is very clean while the contrasting colors provide a definite visual drama. Another variation on the theme, this platinum wedding band is still simple and elegant but more visually active than those having only two separate contrasting elements. To view a page showing this gold and platinum wedding ring, click here or on the image to the right.
Seen to the right is an 18K white gold and yellow gold wedding band. The outer edges of the ring gently undulate as the ring encircles the finger. The white and yellow portions run parallel to the edges. The distinction between yellow and white gold is less pronounced than with platinum and yellow gold. A more ambitious variation on the same theme. This pair of platinum and gold wedding bands maintains an overall level of simplicity. The 18K yellow gold stripe takes on a playful aspect in its circuitous path around each ring. The bride's ring additionally has several diamonds strategically located as it terminates one end of the gold line. Seen to the right is an 18K gold engagement/wedding ring that holds a one carat diamond. There are additional diamonds cascading down one side of the ring. Click here or on the picture to the right to go to a page describing this gold wedding ring.
