An even more playful approach to providing an interesting manner in which to set a princess cut diamond, the platinum engagement ring to the left juxtaposes a .70 carat diamond and a .20 carat blue diamond inverted directly beneath the center stone. The culet (pointed end of the stone) of each stone very nearly contacts the culet of the other. With as minimal a bridge of metal as possible spanning the space directly beneath the diamond, the platinum engagement ring seen to the right places a wonderful radiant cut diamond together with a very bright sapphire set below the center stone. The combination and placement of these stones maximizes the presence of both. This ring has a classic appearance while being very contemporary. |

The platinum engagement ring to the left holds a .71 carat radiant cut diamond as the center stone and represents a significantly simpler overall visual appearance. While configured differently than tension set rings, the diamond is fully dramatized and has much the same appearance. In addition to the dramatic space surrounding the stone, a texture has been applied to much of the ring, establishing still another visual dynamic. Seen to the right is a platinum engagement ring with a round brilliant cut diamond. The diamond seen in this ring weighs 1,15 carats, the presence of which is very much dramatized by the space surrounding the stone, which has a similar appearance as a tension set diamond.
