A playful and interesting approach , the platinum engagement ring to the left juxtaposes a 1.27 carat diamond and a .25 carat ruby. The culet (pointed end of the stone) of each very nearly contacts the culet of the other. With a very small bridge of metal spanning the space directly beneath the diamond , the platinum engagement ring seen to the right is configured in such a manner as to fully dramatize the presence of the stone. This ring has a very gently undulating profile while it makes a very strong visual statement. |

With a lot of visual activity, the platinum engagement ring to the left holds a 1.50 carat diamond as the center stone. While configured differently than tension set rings, the diamond is fully dramatized and has much the same appearance. A wonderful play of light and color, the platinum engagement ring seen to the left is brings the diamond together with an intensely red ruby in an interesting configuration with an additional surprise on the underside. As with nearly all the rings I make, this one has rounded edges making it very comfortable to wear. |
