One end of this fantasy cut tourmaline is a powerfully intense green that migrates to an intense blue on the other end of the stone. It has been carved underneath with a series of lines, some of them crossing others. Picking up on the strong angularity of the stone, I designed the ring in a manner such that the tourmaline crosses the finger at a diagonal. So as not to compete with the tourmaline, the ring itself remains visually simple. |

Articulated on either side of the ring are lines that begin to echo some of the characteristic cuts under the tourmaline. The embellishment of the sides leads the viewer down to bottom of the ring where three channel set diamonds bind the two sides together. ![]() Underside of the ring in which three diamonds are set |
