The ring seen below is made of 18 karat yellow gold. The center stone is a remarkable1.25 carat sapphire with a .25 carat round brilliant diamond inverted directly beneath it. There is an additional .05 ct diamond set on the underside of the ring. The rich, intense blue of the sapphire is complemented well by the rich color of the 18K gold.
