Platinum Engagement Ring by Keith Farley |
Seen below is a photograph showing several views of a platinum engagement ring in which I've set round brilliant diamond weighing .78 carat. Inverted beneath the diamond, I've set a round sapphire with the culet of each stone very nearly touching the other. Additionally, I set a small diamond on the palm side of the ring. Click on the picture showing this ring or the links immediately below to view a slide show that will provide better views of this ring. Located toward the lower right is a small photo showing the same engagement ring seen with the wedding band I ultimately made to accommodate the ring. Clicking on the image will open a new window providing additional views of the wedding ring. ***Please note that a ring exhibition at least similar character could also be made. I'm able to make rings of platinum, palladium, white gold as well as other colors of gold. When inquiring about this ring, please make reference to jlngpt84 and provide a general idea regarding the ring size. While I don't make tension set rings, the channel set approach I use when setting a stone often shares many similarities. At the same time, it doesn't have the assorted problems associated with tension setting. Please click here to see why I no longer make tension set rings |
