Platinum Engagement Ring by Keith Farley |

| Five views of a platinum engagement ring can be seen on this page in which I channel set a 1.19 carat round brilliant cut diamond. This ring exposes a broad area around the stone with a relatively similar appearance to a ring with a tension set diamond. Adding another element of interest, a small ruby has been set immediately beneath the diamond, inverted so its culet nearly touches the culet of the diamond. On the underside of the ring, the counterpoint relationship between the diamond and ruby have been further played out in the combination of small channel set stones.***Please note that a ring of similar character could also be made of white or yellow gold. When inquiring about this ring, please make reference to jlngpt69 and provide a general idea regarding the finger size. The telephone number and tab to initiate an email are located at the top of the page. Otherwise, the email address is farley@artwork-inform.com |

While I don't make tension set rings, the resulting appearance of this platinum engagement ring (and actually nearly all of my engagement rings) shares many similarities. At the same time, it doesn't have the assorted problems associated with tension setting. Please click here to see why I no longer make tension set rings |
