This is another platinum engagement ring I've designed that has a very contemporary appearance. The diamond weighed in the neighborhood of a carat. I attempt to maximize the presence of the diamond by creating very simple lines that draw the eye to the diamond as a way to dramatize the stone. As with many of the rings I make, this shares much of the appearance of tension set rings without some of the drawbacks that tension set rings have.Two advantages to my rings, they have the possibility of being sized and a channel set stone tends to be more secure than its tension set counterpart.
