18K Yellow Gold Engagement Ring by Keith Farley |

| The contemporary 18 karat yellow gold rings seen below is an engagement ring with clean, flowing lines that extend up the finger and ultimately embrace and hold the stone in place. Quite a number of customers express interest in locating and incorporating stones other than diamonds in engagement rings. I have very good sources for very fine gems and I can help locate the perfect stone. In this case, the customer was interested in ruby, partly for the color as well as for its durability. The ruby has been channel set in the ring as opposed to being tension set. In a similar manner as tension setting, the presence of the stone is emphasized in the open space where i resides. ***Please note that a similar ring could be made of other colors of gold or platinum. When inquiring about this ring, please make reference to jlngau17 and provide a general idea regarding the ring size. While I don't make tension set rings, the resulting appearance of this white gold engagement ring (and actually nearly all of my engagement rings) shares many similarities. At the same time, it doesn't have the assorted problems associated with tension setting.
