14 Karat Gold Multi-Column Ring With Fantasy Cut Citrine

The column in Western architecture seems to represent the notion of power and high mindedness more than possibly any other icon.

With its flat base, this ring is fully able to stand on its own as a small sculptural piece in addition to functioning as a wearable and comfortable piece of jewelry.

The various parts of this ring were first carved from wax and then cast in 14 karat gold. The base and the top ring that surrounds the fantasy cut citrine are 14K white gold, while all remaining pieces are 14K yellow gold. Once cast and taken through the series of finishing processes, the parts were soldered together and then the stone was set.
